How and When to Use this Guide

When an object in the IDE will not open.

Instructions

The page file size will have to be adjusted. This will change depending on how much memory you have on your system and the operating system you are using.

To determine your min and max page file size click this link

Once you have determined your sizes follow these steps:

  1. Open Computer Management.
  2. In the console tree, right-click Computer Management (Local), and then select Properties.
  3. On the Advanced tab, under Performance, click Settings.
  4. Under Virtual memory, click Change.
  5. In the Drive list, click the drive that contains the paging file you want to Verify/change
  6. If necessary, under Paging file size for selected drive, click Custom size, type new paging file sizes in the Initial Size (MB) and Maximum Size (MB) boxes, and then click Set. Click OK.

Confirmation of Success

You will now be able to open objects without an error.
